The Lincolnshire Team who will play in the Finals at Kedleston Park Golf Club in Derbyshire September 13th - 17th are:

Helen Hewlett (Seacroft), Holly Clyburn (Woodhall Spa), Jess Wilcox (Blankney), Sophie Beardsall (Greetham Valley), Emilee Taylor (Holme Hall), Helen McDougall (Lincoln), Becky Lynes (Lincoln) and Megan Illingworth (Stoke Rochford).

Jess Schiele and Gemma Hardie are unavailable as they will have returned to University in America.

They will play round robin matches against

Dorset on Monday 9.12 and 14.22

Yorkshire on Tuesday 9.12 and 14.22

Hertfordshire on Wednesday 8.30 and 12.45

Sussex on Thursday 8.51 and 13.34

and Northamptonshire on Friday 8.51 and 13.34

The Lincolnshire Team of Helen Hewlett (Seacroft), Jess Wilcox (Blankney), Jess Schiele (Kenwick), Sophie Beardsall (Greetham Valley), Emilee Taylor (Holme Hall), Gemma Hardie (Forest Pines), Helen McDougall (Lincoln)  and County Champion Becky Lynes (Lincoln) have won all 5 of their matches and  they will now go on to represent Midlands North at Keddlestone Park, Derbys from September 13th - 17th at the County Finals, where they will play Dorset, Northants, Sussex, Hertfordshire and the winning team from the North.

The final scores  were:   

v Staffordshire  5 -  4, 

v Leicestershire 6 ˝ -  2˝ 

v Shropshire 9  -  0  

v Nottinghamshire 8˝  -  ˝ and

v Derbyshire 8 - 1

The team broke a few records on the way. This is the first time Lincolnshire has won back to back titles, they won a remarkable 37 matches out of a total of 45 and dropped just 1˝ matches in the final 27 matches.  Their success is not only due to talent and hard work, they have great team spirit and support each other on and off the course.

In addition, they are followed by a loyal and happy band of supporters, some of whom bear a remarkable resemblance to the Lincoln Imp.
