Vice-Captain  -  Cindy Ireland

LLCGA is delighted to announce that with immediate effect Cindy Ireland (Blankney) has been appointed County Vice-Captain.  Cindy is a past Captain of Blankney Golf Club and a single figure golfer who is currently a popular and successful member of the County 2nd team.  She has been a highly organised and efficient Fixtures Secretary and we look forward to welcoming her on to the County Executive Committee.  Cindy replaces Sue Over (Forest Pines) who resigned earlier this year due to work commitments and we thank Sue for continuing to run the 2nd team during the 2010 season.

President  -  Sue Bassindale

We are pleased to announce that Sue Bassindale of Holme Hall Golf Club has accepted the invitation to become the next President of LLCGA.  This appointment will be ratified and take effect from the 2010 AGM.  Sue will take over her 2 year reign from our current President, Margaret Johns, and we are delighted to be able to welcome her back to Lincolnshire golf.  Sue has an extraordinary playing record, having been off low single figures and played both County golf and English Seniors, winning the English Seniors Strokeplay Championships in 1994. She has also been County Captain 1995 - 1997 and County Vets Captain and we look forward to seeing her at our County events next year.
