Ping Junior Masters Grand Final

70 Juniors played in the final at Close House.

Congratulations to Abigail Scott, Kenwick Park, the overall winner with a nett 63.

World Junior Girls Golf Championships

✅ Preparations complete and #TeamEngland are all set for the World Junior Girls Championship taking place at Angus Glen, Ontario.

 

 

Tilly Garfoot

Congratulations to Tilly Garfoot who has been awarded The Dinah Oxley Golf Foundation Presidents’ Award 2022 

 

The Dinah Oxley Spirit of Golf Award recognises a young person who has made a significant contribution to junior golf. Tilly has been recognised for all her amazing work over the years as a junior; both as a Volunteer, Ambassador & Captain within the County & at Clubs. Tilly was instrumental in the development of girls’ golf in Lincolnshire in 2021; including creating the “Lincolnshire Girls Golf Squad” & the Girls Motto “Imps - Inspire, Motivate, Passion, Success”.

The LGGS now has over 100 girl golfers from around the county; Tilly having played a crucial part within this progress.

Congratulations must also go to Baysgarth School; crowned as Stephen Proctor Presidents’ Awards winner 2022 for their outstanding efforts in making golf more inclusive and welcoming to young people. This includes their girls focused projects since 2017, providing an introduction of golf to all their students, creating the North Lincs Secondary StreetGolf Festival & Get Glowing Golf project
